Can I join IIST without JEE Advanced?
There is no separate exam for admission to IIST than JEE Advanced. You should have 30% marks overall in Advanced as well as 10% in each section separate. And 75% marks in your Class 12. Based on these minimum eligibility and your position in rank list prepared by IIST determines your admission.
Can I get admission in IIST through jee mains only?
No. You cannot get admission in IIST on the basis of JEE Mains score. For admission in IIST, the score of JEE Advanced is taken into consideration.
Can I get admission in IIT without clearing JEE Advanced?
Yes, it is possible to get admission in IIT without JEE, but in other courses than B. Tech.
